Rode Phoenix bareback in a very slippery pasture: light trotting, yielding hindquarters, backing.  Super well-behaved.  Rode Onyx with saddle and bridle up and down driveway, in hay field.  He played with the bit a lot, but overall he was patient and listening.  Dave then rode him on the driveway with me leading Onyx (still saddled).

Dave I learned a valuable lesson tonight: when the Phillips family calls to tell you not to come out, don't come out! We got stuck at the top of their driveway and had to walk down to the barn in 2' drifts!  Then Omar had to come blow us out afterwards - it was very embarassing.  We didn't spend much time with the horses - we mucked and groomed as fast as we could, then checked to make sure their blankets still fit as it's supposed to get down to -20 Celsius this week.

Sold the Honda Civic to Dave's co-worker, CC.  Didn't get home until after 7:00 p.m.
