Clear and cold today so it was a short ride around the farm on Phoenix.  Kym was leading Wonder, so we followed behind and trotted down the driveway.  Phoenix kicked up a bit - I think he likes to "warm up" before trotting or cantering - but overall he was very well-behaved again.  Blanketed him after.

It started out as a beautiful afternoon so we picked up Ashley, did a quick mucking of the stalls, then groomed the horses outside.  After, we both did the 5 basic goundwork exercises (Ashley with Onyx; me with Phee) then hopped on the boys bareback and rode them around the riding ring for awhile, doing One Rein Stops and yielding the hindquarters, plus backing.  They were behaving well, so Dave opened the gate and we rode them through the woods, up the driveway and back, even trotting back through the woods.
