Onyx was being a total idiot tonight when he came in from the front pasture to the corral.  He charged the gate and almost fell into it, then started bucking and almost kicked me a few times.  I threw his halter on and did some intense yielding the hindquarters, backing and flexing (while Phoenix ate hay) until Onyx settled down.  When I took the halter off, he humbly and quietly went to his hay - hopefully he "got" the lesson!
