Bitterly cold and windy today, so we just groomed the boys in the barn, then Dave put Onyx's blanket on him.  Elsa is back home so we helped her muck all the stalls and put down pine shavings.  Phoenix was a bit crusty at first, but the chance to kick up his heels outside while changing his stall did wonders.  He even cuddled afterwards.

One last time to see the boys before we attempt to fly to Texas tomorrow.  The weather is absolute crap out there tonight - greasy snow that falls more like rain and is impossible to get off the roads.  We mucked stalls, groomed the horses and gave them big treats tonight since we won't see them for awhile.  Ashley is looking after them, but still....  Phoenix has a cut on his right hock, very close to the chestnut.  I cleaned it up and put some Aquavet on it - I'll ask Ash to keep an eye on that, too.
