Went to Can-Am today.  Saw clinics by Stacey Westfall and Tracy Porter that I found useful.  Also bought a neoprene girth for Phoenix.

A beautiful Spring night and I heard robins, killdeer, and red-winged blackbirds out at the farm, so all is right with the world.  We mucked stalls and still had some daylight afterwards, so we rather impulsively threw the boys' halters on and took them for a walk / jog up the driveway to a good grazing spot.  We worked on groundwork just a little and just enjoyed the fresh air, temperature and exercise, then brought them back to the barn and groomed them.

Another beautiful day / evening, but we were a little later getting home, since we had to buy a wet-dry Shopvac - our water pump is leaking.  The horses were again turned out in the roundpen for the day and were again covered in mud when we got home.  We groomed them over by the artesian well tonight, so they could "graze" and I could clean Phee's leg and put some more antiseptic on it.  Called Dirk tonight about adding sand to the corral and roundpen.
