Took Phoenix for a walk this morning since it was rather cold when I got there this morning and the mud was frozen into dangerous ruts.  We went past scary garbage cans and the ditch of loud, horse-eating water and he was perfect; then up to Boot Hill, where he got a little carried away with Spring fever - lots of yielding of the hindquarters.  We also worked on standing still while I groomed with no lead or halter - he did very well.  Spent some q-time with Onyx in his pasture, too.

Turned the boys out on the side pasture again this morning for a couple of hours, then back into the corral when we went for groceries in the afternoon.  Wind warnings tonight.
