Phoenix was being a right dink today and wouldn't let me catch him, so he got a super work-out as I drove him around the paddock, then lunged him once he was "caught."  Groomed him and then let him graze on the road.

Another cold and incredibly windy day so I opted out of riding again.  We mucked stalls then got the boys and took them for a graze up onto the lawn.  Phoenix and I had an encounter with a garden snake on the way, but I don't think Phee even saw it.  Afterwards, we took them into the barn to groom since our ears were ringing by that point - they were both very well-behaved there.  I did some more at liberty work with Phee in the pasture - he did great aside from baring his teeth at me a couple of times after I ran across the pastsure towards him!

Dirk's Excavating was out tonight to do some preliminary work on the roundpen (removing stumps, scraping, etc.).  He also condensed our manure piles for us!
