Both horses tried to take off my left hand today!  Did Lungeing for Respect - Stage 2 with Phoenix and we had an ugly start - he gave me a rope burn trying to pull away, but once he got it, he did great.  Rode him bareback in the pasture, doing walk-trot transitions and bending circles at the trot in front of the gate.  I rode Onyx with saddle in the riding ring, working on cruising at the walk and trot, then cues for forward and back.  He was scared of something in the far corner, so I got off and did the sending exercise with his halter on.  He panicked at the beginning and kicked out, brushed my hand with his foot!

We were late getting home tonight, but horses were turned out on pasture all day today (first time this Spring), so they weren't complaining!
