My first trip out to the horses on my own since Phoenix broke my hand - even small things are exhausting!  I had to lunge Phoenix for 15 minutes before he settled down enough for me to groom him, but I was able to clean his hooves today!  Brought Onyx up after Phee and groomed him, too, and they both got their sunflower seeds and hoof and joint supplement (Renewal).

Dirk's Excavating showed up at 7:30 this morning and put a layer of sand in the shelter before levelling out the loads dumped in the roundpen on Thursday.  I had to work at both stores today for Scratch & Save.  It did rain the whole day, so the horses stayed in the corral.
