Went to Brubacher's today to have the winter blankets cleaned and bought a few grooming / bath tools for Onyx and some treats for Phoenix's birthday today.  I groomed him and he was getting agitated by the wind and Rob's generator, so I wound up lungeing him for awhile.  We then gave Onyx another bath and got most of the dreadlocks off his legs and belly.  We desensitized him to fly spray, then put CopperSept on both his and Phoenix's feet.  They were both pretty good boys, all things considered.  Phoenix even let me lead him up and down a wooden ramp that made lots of noise and moved!

We went out to celebrate Phoenix's birthday with him.  We brought Onyx up and groomed them both.  It started to rain so we took them into the barn and gave them special treats including Barnies and a hoof and joint supplement.  Starting with 1/2 a scoop.

Went to see the boys tonight and wished Phee a happy 15th birthday.  They were both acting exceptionally odd - they were so quiet in their stalls, I had to doublecheck they were there!  We think they may have been sleeping, so after cleaning their stalls, we decided to take them for a grazing walk to wake them up.  We did groundwork along the way and groomed them when we got back.  Special birthday buckets tonight with Barnies included.
