Had a smaller cast put on today with more use of my fingers - 3 weeks yet!

Beautiful - almost hot! - morning out with the boys.  I mucked stalls and talked too much to Andrea, but brought out buckets to the pasture and was rewarded with 2 cantering horses as they raced to see me.  After grooming, I did the helicopter and slap & walk exercise with Onyx and he did brilliantly with Yielding the Forequarters in both directions after Lunging for Respect- Stage 1.  Then Phee and I did the C Pattern, Lungeing for Respect- Stage 1, Yielding the Forequarters, and a refresher on sidepassing before I took off his halter and did some liberty work.  He wa a huge cuddlebug and actually followed me around after instead of grazing!
